Sensational advice. I have a Linden 13400 Power Bank hasnt worked for 2 years. I just watched your video didnt pull it a part. I plugged it into a small blue tooth speaker and turned the blue tooth speaker on. After 5 minutes disconnected power bank then plugged into a fast charger on mains power and magic it started charging. Thanks so much you are the best.

I fixed my bank a while ago using this same method. Ever since then I have worried about what made it malfunction in the 1st place? I was searching YouTube for an answer when I saw this video. Commenting to confirm that this method DOES work.

I think it has worked for me on two different types - ANKER and POWER - ADD usd power packs. Will post again after testing out. Thank you for taking the time to put this video out there. I hate throwing stuff out if it can be fixed.

My problem was that I couldn't get my power brick to turn off after charging. The video thumbnail for this video actually shows a picture of you plugging it in to itself (although you never showed us this in the video). Plugging it from itself back into itself actually reset my power brick and solved my problem. I hope this helps someone else.

Just fixed a similar-looking battery pack that wouldn't recharge (Blackweb brand, from Walmart) doing the exact same reset as you did, and it's working fine now. Thanks!

I have brand new powerbank. Only used 1 time, then forgotten for 1 year.
Put it on charge now for 2days without it going past 1/4 light indicators.
So I swapped the usb cable for a thicker (2amp) cable SOLVED!

Thank You for this simple yet effective solution. It worked perfectly on my 2 obscure model Valore POWERBANKS. I have a theory that because both "died" within 24hrs of each other that I had a faulty Mains to Unit USB charging lead and this contributed towards a short circuit.

I did the thing in the thumbnail and waited for it to drain fully and it worked fine after that
