Why it looks like you eat the food instead of delivering it💀

America is so whipped by capitalism that they blame the customer and not the owner for bad wages 🤡

I honestly didn't know not tipping was a thing. I always tip.

If you're dependant on tips for a job, the job sucks and isn't worth it. Change things up. And fyi, before people start bitching at me in the comments below thinking I don't tip anyone, that isn't the case. Personally I tip people who serve me even if it's not great service, but my point is: if you all really hate the jobs and hate the tipping system, then change it. Nobody's forcing you to work them!!!!

You know what’s so crazy? Is that ill deliver to all huge 4-5 bedroom house, get maybe a dollar tip, but I’ll deliver to someone in an apartment and get 4-9$ tips.

Y’all never go for the company you work for y’all always go for the customers 💀

You’re 100% wrong. The app prioritizes dashers based on acceptance rate and customer rating, (as well as order completion rate but thats easy.) There are some days in the beginning where you might make $20 for 4-5 hours of work, but if you keep your acceptance rating high, and have a 4.9+ customer rating, the app will eventually only give you $10+ orders. If you want to completely avoid low paying orders though, even when your acceptance rating is low, then schedule your dash the night before for hours that arent busy, then park your car in front of a grocery store. Grocery orders are the highest paying by far, and if you schedule the night before, the “dash now” dashers cant work at the same time as you are.

I also feel like the low paying orders are typically difficult orders, like the store takes forever or the order is going to an apt complex where it takes forever to find the apt number.

People are getting mad at the wrong people. We should be mad at the greedy company for taking all the money. Drivers and customers both lose. Drivers should be getting a higher base pay since they do all the work. Customers take all the flak since drivers feel they should pay higher tips when the customer already have to pay 33% in fees and that is without a tip.

DoorDash is the big winner here. They take all the profits from hard working delivery drivers. And since we have this tipping culture that only benefits the big corporations, the drivers and customers get mad at each other. When we should be really angry at the company that is worth $30 billion.

All said and done. Tips are optional. You cant demand it. Its a job, you get paid a salary.

I love the phony mfs in the comments who say "Jokes on you, I tip in cash"

I've tested that theory so many times, the only people that tip in cash have been the people that already left a tip in the first place 😂 go figure

People who don’t tip aren’t broke, that’s why they still go out to eat and order delivery food. They just don’t want to give out free money in order to get to do the job that they signed up for…

Ive always said this and teach my kids this. If you dont have "DoorDash money" dont use doordash. People are putting wear and tear on their cars and I dont care what anyone says, doordashing is like waiting at a restaurant. If you dont have that kind of money, dont order doordash. Get your own food.

These videos are "for THE NEW DASHERS". Just like he says! New Dashers don't know any better. & if all Dashers stop taking those orders these companies will have to offer more than $2. Per delivery

As a former dasher, let me tell you this: your lack of a tip reeks of greed and entitlement, and as a rule, it's the non-tippers who typically act like broke-ass Karens. I tip every chance I get, because I was there. I know the territory. Don't be a dick to those who are trying to get by; put yourself in their shoes.

$4 is alot for 2 miles….truck drivers don’t even make that much for 2 miles

You DoorDashers who complain about tips are clowns. Stop getting upset with the customer and start taking it up with your employer, it’s not your customers fault that you as a driver aren’t getting a bigger piece of the pie. The DoorDash service is expensive as it is and with all the up charging they’re doing, the driver should be getting paid more from DoorDash not the customer. A tip from the customer should be a extra bit of gratitude given to the driver, but not an expected thing that’s wrong if you don’t like how you’re being paid, find a different job.
