How to Make White Sauce (Béchamel Sauce)

Hey guys whats up welcome back to our YouTube channel! In today's video we are showing you how to make a basic white béchamel sauce. This is perfect to go on pasta, and anything else you want a creamy cheesy sauce on! Anyone can make it, and it is a fun activity to do. How to make it:
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Flour
1 Cup Milk
3-4 Tbsp Cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

First, melt the butter on the pot. Add in the flour and mix. This is our roux. It should give off a flour aroma and have small bubbles. Then, slowly add the milk in little by little. This will make sure that the mixture cooks faster. We will know it is ready for the next step when it is simmering and can coat the back of a spoon. Turn off the stove top. Next, add in the cheese and seasoning. Since this is a very basic sauce, feel free to add different types of cheeses, and different seasonings. For example, add in garlic or paprika to enhance the taste. Finally, jar this and save for later or serve immediately! This is really tasty on pasta as it tastes similar to mac n cheese!
