Can Adobe Illustrator Run on M1 Macbook Air?

There has been a lot of talk about the M1 Macs and many people have tested Adobe apps like Photoshop and Premiere with some success. But can a base model M1 Macbook Air run Adobe Illustrator?

Hi Ben, very helpful... I am in need to quickly upgrade my 2010 iMac and am considering the Mac Mini rather than specking out a new iMac. I mainly use illustrator and quite often have a dozen programs open at once. You mentioned your main computer is an older iMac, do you recommend this route?

That’s sweet you reply for most comments, I really confused to get MacBook Air m1 13 inch 16 gb ram and 256 GB ssd, will that be okay as a beginner in learning design and adobe stuff ?
Or the base model will be enough in my case a beginner and hobbyist at that moment ?

I’ve got an M1 MacBook Air on the way currently slated to replace my seven-year 21 inch iMac. I personally prefer designer for the cost effectiveness, because for cloud storage I figured I could just use iCloud. Pretty much everything in my tech arsenal is Apple based these days

I have issues with MacMini M1 and Illustrator. After few minutes of usage it crashes and freezes. After waiting time the machine is shutting down. OS version is 11.1.

I currently have an HP Envy, but I am waiting for the Larger M1X I-Macs to come out, partly because I want the larger screen and to have more ram and cores. My HP, only has 2 GB of Video Ram, and 12 GB of Regular Ram, it is only a quadcore (not much compared to Apple's multi-core M1 Macs. I have worked on I-Macs, and miss the Mac OS, so now that I can afford one, I can't wait till they have the M1X Macs. It will be a big upgrade from my Windows machine. Nice drawing of the VW Bus.

I have ordered the new I-Pad Pro in the 12.9 with 1 TB which will come with 16 GB of Ram. So I am interested in your Illustrator on the I-Pad.

I really need your advice:
For a new M1 iMac 24”, where can i find and download the native adobe suite design softwares (photoshop, illustrator, indesign etc..) ? I would like to have them as always on my computer and so I prefer to work on these and i dont want to pay for the subscription of the new adobe cloud!

Running it on a 16 GB RAM MacBook Pro fresh out of the box today... I am beyond disappointed how slow it runs. It does not work at all... Most likely returning it. Very upset considering I thought it would atleast run better than my 2010 pro. It freezes up every like 3rd thing I try to do.

I’ve been looking for this because my main income comes from using this app. Thanks! I love my job as a logo designer because I can get away with the cheapest mac to get my work done, especially this air now has the same color quality as the mbp.
