When it comes to practicality and style in the automotive world, SUVs often reign supreme. However, it's crucial to acknowledge that not all SUVs are created equal and not all of them are desirable choices.

In today's day and age, we are fortunate to have a wide range of high-quality SUVs and other modes of transportation available without having to break the bank. This accessibility has led to an influx of SUVs on our roads. However, as mentioned earlier, it's important to recognize that while some SUVs are exceptional, it's not solely due to their inherent quality.

Unfortunately, there are specific SUV models that fall short in various aspects, making them undesirable options for potential buyers. In fact, these SUVs are so subpar that avoiding them becomes imperative if you plan to make a wise purchasing decision.

He just making you aware of issues that been reported on these models, that doesnt mean you have issues with the one you driving. But always check for recalls on a vehicle before buying or its reliability history.

I'm from the UK and the Kia Sorento from.2015 to the new 2022 model have been praised and good reliability. I own a 2016 2.2 diesel and love it !!

My Kia Sorento, diesel, is the best car i have ever owned, but is let down by some Dealers, like some othe brands ! And given a good Dealer, the Warranty is fantastic !

The worst features of Kias are the dealers. Their abuse of their customers is becoming legendary. Why buy a vehicle that introduces to severe dealer abuse.

I subscribe to Consumer Reports. The 2023 Sorento has a reliability score of 4/5, not 1/5.

maybe it's time to go back to more basic vehicles without so many bells and whistles just for 'selling points' to add $$ to the selling .

I do agree the vehicle is let down by Dealers as now a mulitery war, every problem mentioned is met and recognised by a mulitery figure, so go to your dealer quotes the prices they know the fault, its a good job they do loans to as the car repair is as expensive as a Car.

Ok you had right up to the jeep compass you said it didn’t have collision control and no adaptive cruise control… wrong on both items .. calls your entire report into question

If it's first year the only thing you should be paying for are oil changes. Everything else should be under warranty
Police nationwide are using Explorers and the get a lot harder use than most any family would put it through.
I drive a 2022 Hyundai Palisade and except for 2 factory recalls it has been flawless.
The Lincoln Aviator is just a pricey Ford Explorer

CR is just wrong about the Pathfinder. Any repairs would likely be under warranty.

One would imagine that logically thinking manufacturers should be building automobiles like they were before .
Great engines low fuel consumption & long term guarantees up to 300, 000 miles then people who be more selective .
The normal driver dosent want to change his car before the guarantee is up.
Longer guarantees better customer confidence Other wise is follow the worst case senario and bring your level to the gutter

Have I been lucky?
I've owned a 2021 VW Tiguan 2.0 diesel (7 seater) from near new and not had an issue so far.
I do the usual checks in between services - check oil level, tyres etc.. and have only covered 22k miles - front tyres will need replacing in the next 6 months.
I've owned VW's for the last 30yrs (mainly Golf's, Passat estate) and mainly diesels and provided they are maintained, I've never had an issue.... as already stated I been don't think so.

There were no mentions of any Chinese brands. They must be the world most reliable autos makers and this bloke must've been well paid by the Chinese.

I would much prefer that anything I drive does not have Infotainment.

Good detail but the worst suv of the year is jeep meredian for it's noisy engine, useless 3rd row seat's, hopless features, nonsense fit finish and the never ending list which will go onnn
