This kinda reminds me of an old game I used to play called Black & White 2. You play as God. Your curser is a hand. You also have a giant pet you can control as well. You can choose from a wolf, lion, monkey, or cow. I believe the expansion added a turtle. You can praise or slap them after actions to train them. But, when you clicked on the rocks to gather stone for them, that's what really reminded of it. You could assist your villagers by pulling trees up or gathering rocks or harvest crops yourself. I remember giving my pet lion a tree that he used to lift weight. He lifts bro! You also had to 'encourage' your villagers to reproduce. Check out the game. I have a feeling you would like it. Get the expansion (Battle of the Gods) too.

It feels very bureaucratic to me and i love the idea of the nuggets bein all like "okay so you, youre in charge of agriculture." "whats agriculture?" "we dont know, just go think about it for a while and see if you can figure out what it is."

Also, on the wantin to sacrifice them thing... There is savescumming. Which got me thinkin of a hilarious reason for why the judeochristian god went back on a demand of human sacrifice.

No doubt that god was playin universim and had ordered that, then saved the world so they cud change things back after, then savescummed and had to fly in and be all "whoa wait, stop, nvm" to stop the order after reloading
