This song is so simple yet so deep and beautiful. Imagine being so in love with someone that you just wish you two had met each other when you were kids so that you could have loved that person for more time than you’ve already done. That’s just purely beautiful.

And is a perfect follow up for Next to me and sets the mood of the album along with the cover art. First song of the album pictures somebody at the end of life wishing that special person will be there by his side. That’s why the cover of the album is the stairway heading up to heaven (end of life) but walls are white which exhibits positivism and with Make it happen they confirm the meaning of the album is a look at life through the lense of love, not only wishing that this loved person is with you at the end of your days but also wondering what if you had met in the past and had shared the love together for more time.

So quick little story about this past iii points wknd: Me and my best friends didn't plan ahead for tickets but were in town and tried the whole Saturday to get them unsuccessfully. After giving up on the tickets and already going out elsewhere, something was just telling me to go to the front entrance of the festival and try to see my favorite band somehow. After hopping on an uber from where I was w my friends - by myself - 25 minutes before Rüfüs was scheduled to come on stage and running 0.7 miles from where the uber dropped me off, I started walking near the entrance without a plan and no ticket, just for this guy to see me panting, come talk to me, and just give me his ticket for God knows what reason (bless him)!!! I end up on main stage 3 minutes before Rüfüs comes on and the rest is history. The motivation and love for my favorite band taught me a huge lesson on following my dreams and intuition! LOVE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! (Also s/o to the girl dancing next to me who was so nice, I think her name was Savannah) ♥♥♥
