Watching in replay… Kevin you always make my day. I was cooking earlier, made twice baked potatoes, spinach tortellini soup, pie crust for the freezer, delicious Mac and cheese and chocolate chip cookies. On rainy days I cook for my freezer.

Making your soup today= have all the ingredients- btw- we freeze our sage whole in mason jars- take out what you need- leave on the counter and like magic it comes back to life as if was fresh- I have some that are 4 years old and still perfect (we wash and dry before freezing) UPDATE= made the soup= I did have fresh ginger- and a small onion so I also added a leek- my orange was a bit long in the tooth so added a splash of cointreau instead lol it was delicious (used my own homemade broth)- this recipe would be great with either pumpkin or butternut squash)

Hi Kevin, I just wanted to let you know that we had cabbage steaks topped with eggs for supper with a rustic apple cake for dessert, all was delish:) My husband loved the cabbage dish! I also hosted my first sips and nibbles in August and it was a great success! Our two best friends visited and I served cucumber sandwiches, blueberry muffins, mixed nuts, cheese and crackers and mixed veg with a dip .I served a beverage that was 1/3 orange juice and 2/3 lemon aid - our absolute favorite this summer. It was so nice to sit and chat and nibble away, our guests really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing Kevin :)
