@Vincent Cheng Hello! Thanks for checking out this video. I think you're interested in gerunds, infinitive, and noun clauses (with "that") as objects, right? There's a lot online about gerunds vs. infinitives.

I have one lesson about some differences. Look in my English Grammar playlist. Mainly, you'll have to familiarize yourself with the verbs that take only gerunds, the verbs that only take infinitives, and the verbs that take either. In that last group, some have no difference in meaning (like to do, like doing). Other verbs will have a difference in meaning (remember to do, remember doing). My one video focuses on that last group.

Useful links:
Gerund and Infinitives - Lesson 27 - English Grammar (with captions)

You can also search for info on noun clauses or "that" clauses. You'll often see them used as direct objects:
I know that...
I said that...
We agree that...

Hope this helps a bit! Regards!

Hello Jennifer! I am glad to see you with your son teaching English. :)
I have a doubt, Jennifer. When you use the sentence: "He is thinking about an important question.", we must consider the verbal structure "think about" as a phrasal verb?. For example, if we use the passive structure of that sentence: "An important question is being thought about by him." or "An important question is being thought by him.", which of these two latter sentences would be correct?
Thank you! Regards! :)

I knew this would come up... thank you. You make sense here. Many are a question of familiarity . (I've lost some of my abstract skills. ) Of, as i look at it, can be used in a more 'superficial"context factual without going into details. A Lovely young boy.☀️

Up is my favourite movie. I can't remember how many times I've watched it and I always end up crying a lot. A wonderful movie. I also love the song "Remeber when" from this movie.

As prepositions still confuse people, to ease students into the subject I would now simply say. 'It's a word or series of words often used to join nouns, pronouns and proper nouns."  Examples. We are IN town; We are OUT OF the class AT the moment; It is a box OF chocolates; I went ACROSS the road; We will go TO Nevada tomorrow; We will have TO gain permission FROM Jack IN ORDER TO see Jill; I am ON TOP OF the world!  I also think that showing a list of prepositions is helpful. I also enjoyed your lesson, Jennifer.
