I find it hilarious that Ron Chernow was unhappy with the "You punched the bursar?" part because Alex was not as quick to violence as that suggests, but made no complaints about Lin erasing MULTIPLE Schuyler brothers from history because he forgot about them, hence "My father has no sons..." 😂

If anyone noticed why in the first minutes of the musical the characters are a little ‘smiley’, its because "John Laurens" (forgot the actors name lol) was given a completely different wig right before the show wich everyone did not know was going to happen, so they giggled, and apparently during the first parts when John Laurens is on the side carts the director tells him to get his shit together and stop laughing cus they were laughing so much😂

For a while, I couldn't tell if Anthony was intentionally adding the subtle details to his performance as Laurens to be historically honest about John Laurens being a gay man, but the way he as Laurens looks at Lin (as Hamilton) when saying "You and I, do or die" feels more intimate and erotic than "Say No To This".

Thank you for this masterpiece! As a little thank you let me share a little fun fact: 2:46 where Burr is trynna hit on Angelica is cool and all, but in the German version he goes full simp mode and tells her he would like to drink her bathwater. Just wanted to share it with some people.
