In this Python video I am going to introduce you to Python. I will be covering
- What is Python?
- Why should we learn Python?
- What are the different kinds of applications we can develop using Python?
- And end with a Hello World Program.
Python is a general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level programming language. It was created by Guido van Rossum, and released in 1991.
Python is designed to be highly readable. It uses English keywords frequently where as other languages use punctuation, and it has fewer syntactical constructions than other languages.
Python programming is widely used in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Generation, Neural Networks and other advanced fields of Computer Science.
Many large companies use the Python programming language include NASA, Google, YouTube, BitTorrent, etc.
Like Perl, Python source code is also available under the GNU General Public License (GPL).
