I'm a 17 year old that has been doing blender for a few years making architecture or modelling props out of passion, but i never realised you could make money doing this only quite recently. I must say thank you so much for this video, its so straightforward and direct, with no bs telling you exactly what you need to do to start making money. You are such a hidden gem and i genuinely cannot thank you more for this really helpful guide. More important than anything in this video is to know which 3D direction you want to go. Do you want to work as a 3D artist in the film industry? In games? Advertisement? Animation? Architecture? Do you want to be a 3d character artist? A hard surface artist? An environement artist? When you have the answer THEN you can start focusing on learning and consequently building the RIGHT PORTFOLIO for the right job. Why waste time learning to animate when all you want to do is vehicles or weapons? You can learn to animate them later, now it's not important. And NO, don't put your worse portfolio piece at the bottom - ALL pieces must be awesome. And lastly, it's better to have 3 awesome pieces than 9 mediocre ones. Good luck.
