Big Sur is one of the most EPIC road trips in the US! This 90 mile rugged stretch of coastline runs from San Simeon to Carmel, California and features endless ocean views, fun hikes, quick overlooks, beaches, and so much more! We have been fortunate enough to now drive this road four times in our lifetime and every time it just blows us away. And in this video we're sharing our most recent 2 day road trip along the coast!

your food cooker thing did that bc you were supposed to open the vent from the start 😆 the steam built up too much pressure with it closed so when you DID open the vent, all the steam was trying to escape from that tiny hole and the pressure blowing out was taking moisture/water with it.

I can’t think about the shake weight without thinking about that South Park episode 😅. Also, so glad to see so much of Little K Kona!

Your cinematography in this one is epic. Love your intro with the seagull shaking its head and the Kona cam running on the beach. You can tell a lot of time went into making this. Also, the acai bowl looked delicious!

Absolutely spectacular!!! California is such a beautiful state!! There is no doubt of all of it (the cities, mountains, desert and coast)--the coast is the best by far!! Thanks for your super fun video of this part of the Golden State!!

I have to say: The whole video is so entertaining but the pasta cooking experience is the most hilarious!

I can truly go on & on about how much i love A+K and their personalities and filming etc but i truly appreciate that they include how they cook and stay healthy on the road. That’s so important to me as a traveller/trucker to get ideas on what i could be doing.

I'm only 2 mins into the video but I had to pause and comment that Kona is THE CUTEST. The lil clip with her nose covered in sand made my heart melt. <3

Your videos bring me a lot of hope and get me brainstorming on how to get out of my mind a bit and explore. I actually found your videos because you guys had visited Glacier and posted all about it! Big Sur is such a magical place. I lived in Monterey for a short time and every day after work I would take my motorcycle down the coast.

America! It can be inspiring and beautiful. It can also be dark and ugly. It’s soo many things, but it’s ours. It’s our America.

One of my favorite places in the world, fortunate to live close enough to visit often. FYI, at Garrapata, if you hit the north end of the beach, there’s a little ‘valley’ of Calla Lillies; it’s gotten pretty big over the years. Pfeiffer Beach is semi-famous for an arch in the ocean, and sunset beams through for a period around the winter solstice. Also has purple sand that sometimes washes out of the hillsides. Then there’s Point Lobos in Carmel, which is a really popular place to walk/hike with great views. You may have been to some or all of these spots in past visits, but figured I'd mention them just in case.

Knew this one was coming eventually, glad you got to see one of the best spot in CA. Put the lost coast trail on your list, one of the most magical backpacking trip I’ve ever done. Though the van wouldn’t like the roads in those parts
