Whether you prefer luxury accommodations or rustic camping, Big Sur has lodging options to suit every taste and budget. Splurge on a cliffside resort with panoramic views or unwind in a cozy cabin nestled in the redwoods. Don't forget to mention that Monterey has a regional airport, MRY. It's a bit more expensive because it's regional, but that also makes it fairly hassle free. There are direct flights from various locations, so check out this airport when making plans. And, obviously, you're going to need a car when going to Big Sur, so factor that in as well.
