With everyone getting new outfits here and there and getting 3D models I've also been wondering what's happening behind the scenes

When will IRyS new outfit be? Is it a possible IRyS Redesign? Who knows we don't know. I hope Cover will give IRyS justice with the new Outfit Design

Between her lack of a new model and lack of 3D (despite being physically in Japan), it somehow feels like they've forgotten her a little sometimes :/

With the no new outfits until then, it's almost certainly a redesign of some sort. Whether that be tweaks to her model or a full blown redesign remains to be seen. It's pretty clear she's getting frustrated by how long everything is taking though, so maybe we need to try to be more patient than she is lol

At this point i'm expecting a package containing her new model, 3D model, and the outfits. But I know for a fact that's going to be either hard or impossible.

Man IRyS is so great but i feel like she gets the least appreciation sometimes, like I love my demon oshi. And her not getting one of those new things would be great... Well whatever the corporate world can go Suck one, we can make her pngs that fit her so atleast there is that. Its the small victories that count.

Maybe they have a good reason, like they died while making it and no one found the body for a few months so they had to refurb the studio, hire some new guys and then they died too.

It does sound like IRyS herself might be getting a little frustrated by this. Its been a year and no new outfit/3D. Why give her a redesign now? If Cover thought that her model was going to be difficult to deal with when it comes to 3D/outfits then why did they accept that model in the first place? I also don't understand why Cover never released an official statement regarding this. To me it seems important enough to warrant a statement so people online wouldn't spread so much misinformation about this.

i wonder if it cause her main artist is the issue .. that the primary reason for delays if they main artist doesnt work on the commission. hard to charge their papa/mama once the relation is started

She has a rather complex design for 3D modeling, between other delays and issues I can understand a model taking longer than intended. A new outfit though… that taking this long raises an eyebrow, since that can be tweaked and adjusted between the talent and their “mother” (or father) artist, maybe there’s something going on on Redjuice’s end?

Man, Imagine if her new model is drawn by a new artist....namely, Jan Azure? I feel like that would be an absolute win right there. I feel like that style would definitely suit her a lot more and it seems to fit closer to her own personality. Well, whatever it is I hope Irys gets it soon. I'm sure we're all tired of waiting....including Irys herself!

If the art in her dakimakura is evident of anything, I think it’s that her new “model”/outfit will be much more anime ish. Her papa’s style is clearly hard to translate into a vtuber model, so I wonder if it will be done by a new papa altogether. I can’t imagine any other reason than company negligence that a single new outfit would take almost a year and a half to release besides her getting a complete model update/overhaul. There are so many artists on Twitter dedicated to drawing IRyS and none of them even attempt to express the “serious” nature of her official model/art, always opting to stick to the clearer anime style/cutesy style—obviously depending on the artist. I think that her daki art and the fan art I always see of her fits her personality much better than Shiru papa’s style that it’s sometimes vexing to see her model when she streams. I hope that whatever happens, she gets her due diligence, and Shiru stays as her papa because I would hate for him to get axed just bc of his art style instead of adapting to a more suitable style for IRyS. I guess all we can do is wait and see!
