Its been years since i let myself collapse into another's arms.

For 2 years, just didn't care enough to bother with anyone. Nobody mattered enough to me. Everyone was dumb. I had my heart in a steel lockbox, surrounded by bulletproof walls. I was the worst, sure. I was also at my worst. Once I met the LOML, I was scared. I felt my "roughed up skater girl w/ asshole energy" facade crumbling and starting to develop holes. But why? I didnt know at all. All I knew is that I had begun to fall in love again. I wanted to push the feeling and run, and got damn good at it for a bit. Well, He walked me home one night after we hung out. We were headed our seperate ways, and I slipped up and spoke those three little words that I swore I'd never say again. I tried to play it off, but he asked again. I repeated, and he reciprocated.

Hes shown me that I am still humanly capable of love and the gentle, cheesy words that come along. Hes shown me that even *I* can be changed - and that wall had been up for 2 years and in the making for 5.
