I remember seeing a show on Discovery Channel about the Miami International Airport back in the 60s and 70s. When they found animals that weren’t with permits, they would destroy them. So the employees used to set them free on the grounds. It got so bad they had to build a fence. Supposedly that’s one of the contributing factors to so many invasive species are in south Florida . I’m pretty sure you can still find the show somewhere on the Internet. It’s pretty cool.

Plus that little capture barely puts a dent in the populations. What they captured will probably be respawned within the next week and then some. They can get away with selling them cause they call it conservation. It’s just about the money

Give it a month and the people that buy it will let it go again

More invasive species than natives, no?

How are you helping with the invasive species? You captured them and just going to sell them where they'll most likely escape or be released again.

😢 dieren die in het wild zijn geboren moeten daar blijven en niet in een hokje geduwd worden

Real question here from someone who visits Florida from Kentucky and enjoys seeing lizards… why are they bad enough for the ecosystem to have to remove them

Thank that random dude for his contribution 😂 since you confiscated all the chameleons he caught.
