Importing products in bulk using CSV

Thank you! If there are already products in the system and you want to load a new .csv file, will it override everything or add to the existing products (potentially creating duplicate entries)?

this just seems like a lot of unnecessary work...if you have to add all this info manually into a spreadsheet, why don't you just create new items individually without doing the spreadsheet? maybe i'm missing something...but it seems like you have to enter all the information manually either way so why not do it right in the pos to start with?
