i dont care what haters said about new iphones, i had 14 pro and i preordered 16pro, i got my phone on 23 sep and i love it so much, awesome design, cameras, battery life 24h with normal light use, usb c, fantastic sound quality, new camera button is also great, great video✌️

Correct. Most reviewers can't understand the average consumer who switches devices every 3.4+ years and mostly cares about the basics: battery, stability, cameras. They're annoyed because there aren't big upgrades between iphone 15 and 16, for delay of AI features etc.

I switched from a 15 pro max to a 16 pro. Overall a far better experience. The connectivity on the 15 pro max was awful, always dropping calls, the 16 pro is much improved and worth upgrading for this alone.
Cameras, barely any difference, low light shots appear much better, clearer.
However, as an iPhone user since the original iPhone, I have to say that the pixel 9 pro xl that I’ve been using is a better phone. Better signal, cameras about the same.

It's less about the fact that there is no apple intelligence straight out of the box. It is the fact that everywhere you look they advertise iphone 16 with ai and that is the main feature to buy the phone for. Also, it is the growing trend of releasing products with promises not features - "get this product and will deliver everything we promise later...maybe...but give us your money now and hope we will keep our promise". Just to clarify, apple is not the only one doing it and they were not the first doing it I think Google might have started it. But, it looks like Apple embraced this trend wholeheartedly.

It's an amazing phone and will get even better with future updates. This week we will get ios 18.0.1 that will get rid of the bugs some of the phones have and that's just the start.

Coming from a galaxy s22 ultra and this is my first iPhone ever, I’m actually floored at how good this device and iOS is. Apple Intelligence is not why I got this device and will just be a nice bonus once it’s released

I was also annoyed by all those negative reviews. The new iPhone has better cameras, a faster processor, extra functionality, but otherwise nothing has changed compared to the previous version? Strange conclusion.
