If Wemby stays healthy he’ll be on this list for sure

I can just imagine how many more blocks Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain have over Hakeem. It is probably like the rebound numbers, where no on comes close to those two.

Imagine Wilt stats on that. He blocked skyhook various times.

Just for fun, i watched Wilt in a play off series with Boston.
He averaged 26 pts, 17 reb.10 blocked shots and 7 assists for the series.
I kept the stats.

I think Wemby will be on this list someday if he stays healthy.

This is another record of Wilts that would never be beaten if they kept those stats

This is a testament to me of how good all of the players in the league are now… super stars are not easy to make anymore because there is so much talent now

Although we all know the name that leads to the list in reality, Wilt

I wonder how many George Mikan had in the 50's, just because he was 6' 10" and there was no goaltending rule at the time.

Hakeem is also top 10 in career steals

If they kept stats on blocks back in the day, Wilt and Russell would be 1-2 and everyone else far behind.

When Wilt was 35 he blocked a younger Jabbar 13 times in one game.

It's from this point forward that I recognize everybody on the list

If statistics were kept during the Russell/Wilt era, those two players would be far ahead.

Imagine what Kareem’s number would be if they started recording blocks in 1969 instead of 1973

That record won't be touched. The game is played on the perimeter now, with no traditional centers anymore.

blocks were not a stat when Wilt played, but estimates are that he averaged between 8-10 blocks per game, that would have him with more than 2x Hakeen's totals. There is only one GOAT, and his name is Wilt Chamberlain.
