Kareem has made more baskets than anyone in history but the introduction of the 3 point shot into the NBA changed the points accumulation.

Not sure anyone at least the way nba is currently played will come close to top 5 in points. Load management players wont have enough games. And i wouldnt be surprised to see players not playing as many seasons in future just because they are making so much now.

Jordan retired twice and he went to college for 3 years. He played in 15 season by age 39. Lebron played in 21 seasons by age 39.

This list ended in 2004 when the defense was outlawed. Any record after is a different game. If you give % of 3 points that are not attributed to Kareem and Wilt and Moses then what? This really doesn't work. There are multiple eras of basketball with rules so different they are uncomparable as games.
