I have had an RR Sport with the 4.2 supercharged jag engine for 14 years. 350, 000 km. (210k miles). Bulletproof drive train. Longest vehicle I’ve ever kept & I still love it. It has been a great vehicle.

Those cars are meant to last! We kept using our 2008 tdv6 every day, and it still works very smooth and never had any issues, its an amazing vehicle.

2007 Range Rover sport HSE had it five years FSH got it serviced every year and I put a new set of wiper blades on it, best car I’ve ever had.

Have a 2008 4.4L V8 and have kept it since new, just passing 100, 000 miles. It's been remarkably good so far. Had a couple of minor issues with the air suspension, and that's it. Moreover, we recently bought a piece of agricultural land on a steep slope and the RR Sport crawls all over it, hauling building materials to locations where big picks cannot manage.

Going to look at a 2013 SDV6 HSE BLACK tomorrow. Got a big list of things to look at and this should also help.

Hey Amigo, thx for this Video. I have just gave back my Cupra Formentor because of electric and brake issues, and we are checking out a Range Rover Sport HSE from 2009. So we will check all the things you have told in the Video 🙏🏼🚀 Cheers from Ibiza Max

Really informative video, I am looking at a RRS 2009 TDV8 3.6 with 51, 000 miles and full service history, tomorrow. This has armed me with plenty of knowledge. Thank you

NEVER use a LR franchised dealer to service your RRS. There are plenty of LR 4X4 specialists out there that will genuinely look after it properly. But some are still sharks. It doesn’t need a service each year, but it does need looking after.
Much better value than a same aged Discovery. Though the suspension is harder on the 2010 and younger versions.
Great vehicles and is the first ever truly Sport Utility Vehicle.

My dad had a 2008 3.6 TDV8, only recently sold it. Was great car and not once did it break down. Only issues it had was the noisey air compressor and the speedo stopped working, other than that, fine.
Worth remembering, leather seats, look after them! Use leather cleaner an balm and it will keep the leather looking good and help prevent wear!

Got a 2005 tdv6 with 230000 miles on it. Its the bog standard version, not hse. Perfect for chucking a couple of dogs in back. Had 3yrs use with very little trouble. Had an issue with battery drain which I found was due to an aftermarket satnav. Ripped it out an no problem since. Awesome car👌

Im looking at buying 2006 2.7 TDI hse it has 190, 000 miles, worried if the dreaded crank shaft will hold up, the car has been regularly serviced but I’m not confident about the crank shaft holding up 🙄

Check the insurance before you buy 😂 I bought one Friday because it was cheap.. got it home and called my insurance to add it to our policy with the BMW 320D Msport and they wanted…. Wait for it £7.5k 😂😂😂 I’m 46 years old ffs.. to cut a long story short I searched, compared and still ended up paying £4k !!

Do you have CarFax or anything like across the pond? I am seriously considering a high mileage purchase $8k 2010 RR sport with 172k miles? The car fax report has something like 'Body Electrical System Checked' and I can't find anything to confrim, but these were not recent occurrences on the car fax report....the car has drien another 80k or so miles...also do you think it could be a solid purchase? no rust....visiable.

i own a tesla model s, bmw 5 series and two motorcycles.... other than the motorcycles.... my 2010 Range Rover supercharged Sport is by far the funnest to drive. Something about that 510 horsepower. Granted, there is always something wrong with it (most little things knock on wood) but don't plan to part with it anytime soon.
