Ukrainian capital Kyiv is rocked by Russian airstrikes as buildings go up in flames.

Footage released by the Chief of the Regional Police shows search and rescue teams at an explosion site following the attacks.

Air raid alerts sounded in most regions of Ukraine on Wednesday, including the capital Kyiv, due to impending Russian attacks, according to officials.

Local authorities took to Telegram to urge residents to move to bomb shelters amid threats from incoming missiles.

Meanwhile, officials in the Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions have reported sounds of explosions.

This is going to keep happening until Ukraine sends in a few special ops teams to create havoc in Moscow. Many Ukrainians can easily pass as Russian so this shouldn't be that hard. Maybe they need some ex-IRA chaps to go over and give them some training on how to do it.

Isn’t it about time that the USA allows Zelensky to go on the attack, thereby letting the Russians know what it’s like to go without heating, drinking water etc. The USA has Zelenskys hands tied and can only use the weapons provided on a strictly defensive purpose. Totally wrong!!

The whole concept of shooting down missiles in flight has to be rethought. I live in Birmingham (England). If ten missiles are flying over Birmingham and half of them get shot down, then five missiles are going to come crashing down on Birmingham hitting all sorts of stuff they were not meant to. On top of that, you got the five interceptor missiles that missed. They are also likely to come crashing down on some buildings in Birmingham. This is what is happening in Ukraine when you get stories of schools, hospitals, playgrounds etc being hit. Russians are not going to waste an expensive missile targeting a children playground, that's just propaganda whoever tells you they did. You have to use your loaf whenever you get stories like this.

This looks like the aprtment has been hit by a ukraine air defence missile the failed to hit it's target Russia wouldn't waste a missile worth alot of money to be wasted on a aprtment building which will not return any strategic value
