Managing Manchester City and buying a striker is like Owning the Miami Heat and looking for a new starting shooting guard or trying to sell sand to the middle east or ice cubes in Alaska..You should have concentrated on getting a at least 1 90 or high 80's rated defender, preferably two in case of injuries and a creative midfielder for cover....Great videos BTW keep them coming.

What you do to get Messi is buy about 4-5 barcelona players and then go for him and he will accept. It has worked for me every time and typically if you bid within the first two days of the transfer window then you can get the rest of the Barcelona players for just above their transfer values.

Tip for searching, use the primary attribute tab to fine tune what your looking for and you may find a quality hidden player...If you must get a striker then look at Neymar and Loric Remy and for a creative midfielder look at Ganso from Brazil.

Transfers, you don't 'double pay' you pay a transfer fee to the club he's at and than you offer them a set wage per week to get them to want to join your squad. That's why you have 2 different money sections, one to pay wages the other for transfer fee's.

When you pay a transfer fee, you are paying the actual team money to let you have the player. If the player doesn't accept the contract you offer him, the transfer fee doesn't get paid. Even if he accepts, if you change your mind after the fact, you can reject him.

@TeemingTubbyEmu The transfer fee is to buy a player out of his contract and the money goes straight to the selling club. Then you have to negotiate the players salary. :-)

Tubby You have to pay twice because the first one is for paying his contract out the second one is the wages you have to pay the players

CB Alexis
RWB D. Santon
And for Middle fielders
CAM T. Kroos
CAM S. Giovinco
CM S. Rolfes
LM M. Pjanic
And E. Hazard as striker I go them and they're really good and cheap
