Oh wow. You're real close to Gion Koh where I stayed in Kyoto for a few days. LOVED that whole area of the Gion District. Beautiful and nearby Kiyomizu-dera is such a great temple to visit. Definitely a must try area.

Thanks so much for creating this video and sharing. My husband and I are in Kyoto now for two weeks and tomorrow we plan on visiting the neighborhood you just featured in this video. We’ll be sure to try as many treats as you did. That Karrage chicken looks amazing! After Kyoto we take the Shinkansen to Tokyo where we’ll spend our last 8 days in Japan.
