Police officers, soldiers and civilian experts from Germany are working as peacekeepers with the missions of international organizations. In Germany, three from each professional group were honoured for their commitment, representing all those who work in international peacekeeping missions. One of those singled out is Sebastian Hulde. He is currently working for the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia, and was previously involved in the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine. Being a peacekeeper is a challenge that requires perseverance, Hulde says in the video.
