If you're a woman, you'll get a "full workup." When it's "inconclusive, " they'll send you home with an Rx for Prilosec or Nexium, for gastric reflux/severe heartburn. Then you'll go to a different ER the next week when the pain returns and you'll get an Rx for nitroglycerin for "nonspecific angina." Then you'll go to a THIRD ER in another week and end up in the Cardiac Cath Lab for immediate stent placement, because the first two ERs wouldn't pre-treat you for a presumed allergy to contrast media so they could run a more effective CT/angiogram. My attorney is still dealing with TWO Hospitals' Risk Management VPs, and I'm looking at new minivans.

I've had 2 heart attacks in 2 months. I'm at home recovering after the 2nd. The first I wad woken by severe pain across ny chest, half way down both arms. So bad I couldn't move for 45 minutes. The last I woke feeling very nauseous. A heavy fire sensation that spread a across my chest, back, both arms. The last one lasted approximately 40 minutes. I managed to call 999.
My protein level was 1, 380 I'm lucky to be here. I'm struggling with recovery. I'm 3 week in. Sending love to anyone who's going through this, stay positive ❤

I had a friend die of a heart attack years ago. Leading up to it he had been complaining of back pain and tension in his left arm. He refused to see a doctor. We all believe he had been hiding heart attacks for a while because of his distrust of medicine.

Ok so what if you far from the emergency room? Is like you promoting the ER ..what can you do incase you have a heart attack? To keep you alive what are the tools while
