If you look like a foreigner, most restaurants will help you, even if it's not something they normally do for their customers. Don't necessarily expect it, but we found that most Koreans really like seeing foreigners enjoy their food properly hahahaha. Or bring younger Korean friends with you and the cooking is magically their responsibility. Age definitely has its privileges in Korea! Lol
