I left my doctor’s office in tears -actually crying after she said eat less and exercise more - and i never went back. I figured it out myself.

Thanks Doc! There’s nothing better than when a physician recognizes & admits that they were in error or didn’t fully understand something! Many physicians refuse to do so, but people are more forgiving than you think! We’re all in this together girls! Let’s slay this! ❤

So glad someone in the medical profession is finally working with women's physiology. It was not a requirement to include women in medical research until 1993, and there is a massive hole in medical knowledge when it comes to women's health. Thank you, Dr. Haver.

workout more! I'm exhausted after a shift and I muster the remaining energy to clean my house, cook and wash clothes on my days off.

I’m so glad I found you. My anxiety is off the charts. I forget stuff I never would. I can’t sleep well. Dryness. I thought I was going crazy!!! I’m exercising. Dieting. I just feel better knowing it’s not I’m insane.

I wish I'd seen this before going to my obgyn appt yesterday. The physician fst shamed me, ignored my concerns about these things and the fact that my BP has gone up by 20 points to the HBP range. What angers me the most is I picked her because she was an older woman, only to be treated like I was a stupid little child who couldn't follow directions.

Hahaha😂. Exactly what my doc said. She even commented I was letting vanity get the best of me. So sorry, I guess I should have not fixed my hair and gone in with no makeup. 😂I said actually, I am prediabetic and have high cholesterol and I barely eat anything. I can’t sleep, etc. So, I decided to kick that doc to the curb and went to one who also specializes in hrt. ❤ We have to be our own advocates.

Get a physician experienced in midlife/menopause. All generally accepted practices do NOT apply during menopause. Everything changes.

I am working out doing heavy - intense lifting for over an hour 5 days per week. I’m physically active and move around a lot. After a year and 4 months, I am starting to look better. I had to cut my calories significantly in order for it to work. I found medicine (one I could actually afford) to reduce my appetite, started taking hormones and continued to work out like it was my job in life. If I had done this in my early to mid 40’s, id be ready for competition. Now, in my early 50’s, all this work gets me to look okay but slowly improving. I think I may try your diet, I am feeling defeated. I NEVER had a big belly in my life - then overnight…. Getting old sucks!

I've been a trainer and workout nut all my life. For the past 7 years or so, the weight has crept up no matter the diet or workouts. Now, I feel great exercising for 4 to 6nweels then crash, going into keto acidosis and panic attacks for weeks. Happens every time I start to exercise again, regardless of what kind I do or how easy I take it. It's like everything I learned and know about biology, nutrition and training is meaningless now. So frustrated.

I saw a gorgeous woman in her 20's criticizing your methods on TT. I suggested she remember your name for future reference.

Actually kind of sucks for all those women who were brushed aside, until you were in their shoes, you didn't care. The state of our health care.
