Best friend dropped dead from an unnoticed tick when she was 29. This was in northern Indiana 3 years ago. Hearing this doctor mention the muscle weakness made me remember her struggling to get her pony tail holder our of her hair.

Suffer from chronic Lyme myself. Lots of Neurological issues, muscle weakness and joint pain

My young son got Lyme disease in June of 2020. He had all the symptoms including the partial facial paralysis. Thank goodness we caught it early enough and he made full recovery.

My husband has alpha gal for years terrible disease from a lone star tick over 5 Years. And now has MDS and diabetes who knows if it is all related.

Uh....if you're from New England this is old news. Tick checks are as normal as distinguishing between Poison Ivy and how to treat it....if you do not know this then you did not attend public school...ever....
