A guy cant believe MotorTrend actually gave us a whole episode for free...

I appreciate all the likes, didnt think that would get traction like it did. Was just randomly commenting because i can remember when MT had all the good shows on here prior to the subscription service. 😘

It blows my mind how many people it takes to make an episode when you consider that Derek and Jessica have been doing it on YouTube by themselves for years. Glad to see they are getting the recognition they deserve. Love the show!

I love the names he came up with for each part. Especially, the carburetor. This guy is a trip. Had me giggling throughout the video. Hope to see more content featuring this entertaining and knowledgeable fella.

Motor trend did one of the smartest things to get Dereck to do a show. Big Bonus for both.

Motortrend made a wise decision to give derek a show. He’s such a wholesome guy. The only guy who can release an hour and a half episode on his channel and keep me entertained the whole way through. .

Giving Derek a show was pure genius. If they let him do what he does, the show will be a huge hit. Congrats Derek and @ViceGripGarage !!

The reliability of these old cars will never cease to amaze me! A modern car wants to die quickly, while the classics want to keep going.

I love it.. this is real redkneck mechanics right here.. lightning swirler, sparky thingy, homebred firemaker, and then he just lugs everything over his shoulder !! CLASS ❤

Been watching Dereck on YouTube for years now and I’m so excited for him and his family to make it to the big leagues and get his own tv show.

Derek - Just for a moment there, on the wheels, I thought you were going to start singing Break On Through to The Other Side! She's a beauty, and there's no denying it. I am always so pleased Derek that you can see beyond the issues and the condition to what the true soul of the motor is, and how it can come back to life.
