If they do acquire the resort and build a Universal Studios there, I hope they add a Super Nintendo World there so that Nintendo fans in Europe could get their fix, plus Nintendo has more exposure in Spain instead of Beijing.

Great video about all the Universal rumours, as a guest that goes weekly to the park. Most of us really want Universal back here! Just one thing, maybe you should have mentioned Discovery Line, a lot of the information that you talked about came from him, he really looks like he has reliable sources as he has been correct almost every time he's talked about the park.

Universal could easily have a huge presence in Europe! just look at Disneyland Paris! i really hope this happens as PortAventura is a great park and if Universal owned it then it would only get even better

Thanks for the informative video. If Universal plans to return to Europe, I really don't see them investing billions $ on a gigantic placemaking / revamp of Portaventura park as a whole (they can, of course, try to retheme some attractions but I don't see how they could do this on the entire park, and almost 40 attractions). However, I could easily see them investing on a second gate, from scratch, directly inspired by the Beijing resort, replacing the Kung Fu land by Nintendo World. In any case, if they plan to return that would be great for us and would oblige Disney to wake up and speed up plans for the expansion of the Studios and specially for the opening of new stuff at the Disneyland Park. Of course, there is still a long way and I don't see any major changes happening at Portaventura before 2 or 3 years should this rumour be confirmed later this month.

Universal simply have to come to Europe. It doesn't make sense to me that they have 3 parks in Asia, 2 in usa and none in Europe. There's such a big market here, and it would be competition to disneyland paris as it's expanding

I’m so excited about this possibility! I went to portaventura several years ago and you could see an echo of Universals presence from the past but the park would benefit greatly from their input and the thought of getting city walk there or another park, it incredibly exciting for me!!!

Honestly, we NEED Universal to come back in Europe with some Jurassic Park / Harry Potter and nintendo land for shaking Disneyland Paris. Why Disneyland Paris is still not match to other disney Park ? ( and even after the studio expansion, it’s Not going to be enough, we can forget the 3rd land for now i guess with wdc lost money.. ) Because Disneyland Paris is the most visites parc in Europe no matter what and no one can compet against them. At this moment, only Universal with their franchise and expertise could change things, and compète against Disneyland Paris. Îm a french disney fan, but Honestly i lost fate in DLP since the end of the 25 aniversary, and getting universal with Diagon alley et Hogwarts land, it will be so amazing and i’m ready to pay for it !

Yesterday Universal Announced that they will be opening A Themepark in Frisco, Texas which is the area of Dallas and this will be themepark cater To Family With Young Children and I saw the concept Art this Will Include Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, Madagascar, Shrek, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda and a Hotel With 300 Rooms and also they announced a Halloween Horror Nights Experience which will include Haunted Houses, Shops and Dining in Las Vegas, Nevada and it will be located in Area 15

There has been allot of change in the EU since Universal left. We have new states and thus a bigger population. Because the EU has no border controls and the same currency, it is very easy to go to another state. Plane ticket cost around 50 EURO return from NL to ES, and the flight time is 2 hours, making a day trip possible. If Universal comes back, I will surely buy an annual pass!
