Hey Thais! I just discovered your channel a week ago and can't stop watching. As an Anxious Preoccupied person I have been struggling with codependency my whole life. Thanks for making me feel seen and understood ☺

AP here, guy I was dating seemed to go from secure to FA after opening up and being vulnerable. Doing NC at the moment but going to reach out in a few weeks once I work on myself and try to understand him more. He's a good guy and think its salvagable just with covid made both our anxieties heightened. Thais so far you've made me feel more calmer and postive only after finding you a day ago. Thank you ♥️

I wish I had known about your videos when I was IN my relationship instead of after. I love my FA ex gf so much but now I understand! All the pieces fit into place. I've begun working on my anxious preoccupied self in hopes to be with her again someday!

Thais, please let us know the span of each stages. I am in a AP-FA relationship, actually, we were AP and FA intially acc. to PDS test now, I am AP/FA(little) and my partner is Secure acc. to the same test. We feel calm and comfortable around each other, safe and vulnerable to share, communicate. We kind of gave each other commitment and working for a future together. I can differentiate between our Dating Honeymoon and Power Struggle phase as we both strongly shown the characteristics of our attachment style, but now I don't know which stage we are at after the power struggle.... Whatever it is, it's nice till now. I followed you since last couple of months on youtube and it has been really helpful for me/us. Thanks a ton.

What if I’m open to the power struggle phase but the other is not? What is the protocol then? Dump them? Why do I tend to obsess about this situation and the person in it? It’s not a relationship it’s a friendship, an old friendship.

Hi I ❤️your vids! And I have a correction: people don't **perceive** power imbalances it's cause there is one. The person knows that the other person is calling All the shots.🤔

I have tried to find the book by Dr. Susan Campbell, they I hear you mention often but I cannot find it anywhere. Is it no longer in print?

Thais? I am wondering about your thoughts on FA or DAs needing more than several months to realize they had a good guy? Or years down the road what they may be thinking or feeling about a relationship?
I feel like it may take my ex gf, who is more FA in the relationship but DA before and after, a bit longer to realize that I triggered the fear but am consistent other than that.
I feel like anything I try to do now just will trigger fear.

What if someone doesn’t see the value in/wants to avoid working through the conflict and prefers to just let time “heal the wound”? Maybe it’s my anxious side wondering if they will never come out of the “time will heal” stage if I don’t help move it along.
