Life on the road is changing. I've decided to take a break from my solo travelling ways and join @NextMeridianExpedition for the Alaska leg of Expedition Wild. Check out their channel too - they're driving all around the world over the coming years!

I think teaming up was a wise decision. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, traveling alone in such an isolated area can be dangerous. Kudos to you

Recently, it felt like you are overwhelmed and a bit lonely so it's really great to see the spark in your eyes, excitement iny our voice and this big smile again! Big hugs!

Eva, you made the right decision! I and I'm sure all of your followers are relieved you found some traveling companions across such a vast expanse of wilderness. Watching this video was so much fun! Looking forward to your Alaska adventure.

I've travelled solo plenty, but it's the people you meet along the journey that share the adventurous spirit that make the journey awesome!

I love Wilk, I traveled across country in a van back in the 1990s with a German shepherd puppy about 6 months old (he since passed, a great dog). So this video series is very nostalgic for me.

I love it when Vilk alerts you that he wants to go in the truck.
He knows that is his home. His safe place. His den.
So sweet.

Happy to see that you joined fellow travellers! Regarding your thoughts about your solo status, i mean the thing that keeps me watching is the joy and adventures that you keep sharing.
And not the fact that you are travelling alone and facing a lot of trouble or potential danger.
Stay safe and enjoy!

Eva you should get a ramp for Vilk. It will save your back and his legs. And when he is old, it is so good to allready be used to walking the ramp. My dog is 13, 5 years old now, and it was not easy to learn her walk the ramp at her old age.

I watch your channel because of you, not who you do or don't travel with. You have a beautiful, warm, and engaging personality and your videos are enjoyable to watch and relaxing at the same time. So continue being you! ❤ 🦋

Definitely a good call traveling in a convoy. It's totally possible to solo travel all the way to Prudhoe Bay, but you'd have to play it ultra safe and dare I say boring. This way, you get to have amazing experiences along the way.

There is no shame in traveling with others, it’s still an adventure! Nothing better than sharing it with others!!❤️

Eva, it was lovely meeting you in vancouver! I was the girl with the blue hair who gave you the whole foods gift card. Would have loved to have stayed to see odyssey, but had a 2 hour bus ride to get back home and i had to work in the morning. So i took off after the Q&A. Thanks for doing the meetup, enjoy the rest of your trip! 😁

I'm glad to see you are serious about your dog's training and also that you have friends with you through your travels in Canada. Good luck. Thanks for all the wonderful footage.

Love your videos. That pup is your biggest fan. I can hear him calling for you when he’s not there with you. He’s a huge asset. Dogs are the best friend anyone can have. Listen to him and act accordingly. They got great sniffers - better than our eyes.

Smart to be part of a group for such a long, lonely stretch of travel. Share the burdens, share the joy.

Honestly, I am glad to see you traveling with someone else in the Alaskan territory. Yes we have been there and it is always better to have someone else in the event something goes wrong. Also, it is interesting to “meet” the interesting people YOU meet on your travels, their perspectives, cultures, and personalities.

Eva that was brilliant! So so pleased you joined up with those other travellers, lovely people, like yourself! How much fun were you and Vilk having and just seeing those three Defenders on the road together - what a sight, what an inspiration you all are!! Thank you for sharing that amazing part of your journey!! Absolute WOW WOW WOW! ❤❤

As a lifelong Alaskan you guys really made the right call entering Alaska on the Top of the World highway and the Taylor highway definitely the more senic option. Albeit in my opinion it's hard not to have a senic route in Alaska.

I traveled to Alaska about 5 years ago. Went up through Montana and back through Washington. I was able to get wifi at the visitor centers they have in most towns. I camped at the provincial parks throughout Canada. You found a nice group to travel with and still had time by yourself while driving
