Hi, nice Video, but you mounted the counterweight and anti skating totally wrong. @2:02 There is the counterweight missing and the anti skate wrong attached. Not a critic, I am just mentioning for the Evo owners out there :)

Why are there two anti skate weights in the box when you only need one?

My 2-channel music listening room is also a full home theater surround sound room. That being said, I rack mount all of my gear on shelves. I plan to purchase this turntable, but I need to set it on a shelf with equipment a few inches above. There will be no space to tilt the dust cover up. I still want to place the cover on when not in use, will it stay on if the tilting hinges are not engaged?

Yes, looks matter.

But when it comes to audio fidelity, how the cable affects the sound quality is more important than how it looks -- perhaps not for everyone -- but for me and most serious listeners, packaging takes a second place behind performance. Looks have zero bearing on sound quality.

The RCA lead is good if you want your Amp literally on top of your records while playing. It's too short. .. The dust cover comes with 99.99% of turntables.
