If you just as bored as I am just join some low levels when there on a team and they'll be completing quests and you can make a steady profit👍

Near Wren @ Crater, you will get 2 sets of spacesuit & space helmet that spawn daily. Easiest 200 caps sell daily with perk card. They only weight 0.1 each

I went from level 1 to 110 within a month and the fastest way I earned caps was hands down just completing the regular quests along with the side and miscellaneous quests. It’s a hassle but when you take into account how much you’re actually spending traveling along with the XP you gain upon completion, with respect of the public events of course. You never really want to miss out on the big events if XP is what you’re looking for
*Edit*
I just want to say that is more of an early game strategy. Late game is your own vendor 100% of the way

It's stupid how Bethesda made every NPC vendor share their caps, every vendor should have it's own caps.

A massive one here for caps that cleans out the vendor in one is moonshine jamboree, Run it with the aim of killing as many gulpers as you can, or if you are low level just land a single shot on as many as you can, once you finish pick up everything and go to the trainstation ( about 200m away}, drop down a tent or ask someone else to and cook up all the gulper innards to gulper slurry, I equip super duper to double my yeild and sell those to the bot, this will empty all of his caps in one

This is a fantastic guide for a returning player such as myself who never made it very far in the game until recently. Thanks for the champion-tier guide!

I like to map hop at Watoga Station until I find the Enclave Plasma Flamer Barrel for quick caps. I can usually get one within an hour or so and I sell them for 15k-17k caps all day. I also hunt for rare outfits like the Hunters Long Coat, Longshoreman, etc from the random vendor bot spawns at Charlston station. Its just a matter of being patient while hopping maps to find the bots. Also Fort Defiance colored asylum workers uniforms. Tons of caps!!! I am max out with caps almost always. You can look online for info on where all the rare vendor bots spawn.

As a side note, chems sell really well. Likes of Berry mentats, grape mentats and psychobuff are the ones I have in my camp at all times and they always sell. Get a couple thousand caps a day

I have been playing since the game came out. All of the other suggestions are good but being consistent with your vendor is most important. Reward plans that you get from seasonal events sell for decent amount and everyone needs ammo. I am at the point I own everything you can buy with caps. Since I am fallout 1st all my extra caps goes towards buying junk to stock up for future me. In another month or two it will be the same with gold.

Honestly I’ve been making quite a few caps just by doing daily ops. Pretty easy activity, especially with 3 other people (max 4 people). I also get a basically near infinite supply of ammo during and after completing these daily ops so I don’t have to craft it, and can even just buy ammo from other players when I feel like it.
You will also level up pretty fast, especially in a public team with 4x bond, to even finish a build that you might be working on

Clear the vendor bots out of caps before you buy plans, whatever caps you spend a portion then becomes available from the vendors I think it's about a third of what you spend so buying 1000 caps worth of items will give the opportunity to get along about 300 back if you have anything left to sell.

When I was level 9 I would look for events where multiple players are at. High ranked enemies means high value loot. Just land one hit on each enemy and let the other players finish them off. You get credit for technically helping out. Easy exp and loot. Plus bonus reward for when the event is over.

I usually made much caps doing this:

First use perk cards to farm drugs, canned food and plans for armor and weapons, sell them for low prices Wich means more people would by them, even if they don't actually need it, they gonna buy it just because is cheap, an example is selling drugs for 10 caps, any canned food for 5 caps each, and plans with 1/3 of recommended price (example recommend price is 100, sell it for 25 or 35)

This kind of thing require farming much resources but you always will see that people would go to your camp more often especially if you put guns, armor, drugs, ammo, junk, and many others for lower prices...

I spent 10000 each day that I play, i usually maintain my caps between 20000 and 35000 caps...

Another tip is selling stuff rare like difficult clothes to find like, space suit

You will sell Evey five minutes if the server is full you won't get tons of money but at the end of the day you can get enough caps.

"sometimes is better to you sell 10 itens than depending to sell only 1, that only an small portion of players will show really interesting in buying it.."

Another thing is: some players put theirs vendors in difficults places to see( with 2000 stuff around it and sometimes is really hard to find it especially if are those small vendors with that small cash register skin), if you wanna sell, your client need to have easy access to your vendors ...

Right on. O.G.76 player here 🎉 you covered almost all of the highlights. Because you forgot to mention springs everybody's always looking for springs especially if they have power armor, and leads becoming a very important thing now too

Get the legendary treasure hunter's hat plan...
Craft about 40 (only takes 40 oil & 120 cloth ) with super duper perk installed...
they are worth 25+ caps ea. @ vender bot stations
& that will almost get you 1400caps.... Easy ✌😎
Not bad for only 40 oil & 120 cloth

If you want to get all 1, 700 caps quickly and easily from robot venders there's just one thing you need - Marine Tactical Helmet. It takes 1 plastic, 1 glass, and 3 rubber to craft and maxed out charisma they sell for 31 caps each. It's a great way to get rid of junk and make sure you easily get all the caps from the vendor. Really the only limiting factor may be the rubber, if you plan on making 50 of these you'll need 150 rubber so selling max number every day won't work, but you've got plenty more to sell first and is a far better plan than selling bulk rubber.

I sell junk in my vendor and I can't keep it stocked! Bulked junk, junk that doesn't bulk and most importantly, insect parts for stings&things -- easily get hundreds of caps for extra junk I've collected, plus I get xp for bulking it, so it's a great cycle of loot/scavenge, bulk for xp, sell for caps while I'm out getting more junk.

One other thing to keep in mind. Players near max caps will buy about anything so they don't go over. They will buy boiled water to save time if just need to spend caps. So sell useful things..not bulk glass or cermamic
