I've been juggling the thought of attempting to grow a few plants in leca, as an experiment. just to see if I like it or not. I'm just getting used to the soil medium I've been working with within the last year or so, but leca has gotten quite popular lately. As a matter of fact, I had never even heard of it before the pandemic. My ONE phal bloomed earlier this year also. even with the raggedy foliage it had, but I'm not giving up on it. and one of my cattelyas just opened its first blooms of the year after my almost losing it and several others to the extreme heat we had this year, so that was a plus also. Just as the phalenopsis, the cat had unimpressive growth, but it managed to push out some blooms, so I'm not complaining.
