Nice, but that is not really brush. I call it brush when you have woody stalks. For this soft vegetation you could even use a scythe.

No logic here to me! I have got one and never use it for anything low because it is too hard on the back. Hip to shoulders only to brush back established trails. I agree with Robin on calling this brush. I call it weeds and grass and use my scythe.

B. WTAF! For that you can use a sickle or scythe. Why would you waste so much movement, energy, and money on a completely inappropriate tool. It’s like wanting to make a grilled cheese sandwich for your five-year old and buying a 5-star hotel kitchen staffed by Jamie Oliver, and provisioned with a 10lb brick of cheese.

Ignorance has no bound. In this situation the best tool is a sickle. Not a machete and definitely not the tool you were using.
