I cant believe he is driving. I've been watching this family before Emmi could even speak. They've all grown so much. The shaytards have been a part of my life for years. Crazy.

This is one of my favorite vlogs of recent. It was so heart warming to see this moment in Gavin's life. Took me back to when I had my permit, then license. I remember when my parents gave me our old 90's Camry. Man, I felt so grateful and took care of that thing for 5 years till I saved enough money, sold it for pennies to a co-worker in need and then bought me a brand new Scion! Gosh, so many great memories.

Way to go, Gavin. I had tears in my eyes thinking of my oldest when he reaches this milestone in his life. Your parents are so proud of you and so are we! Peace- Crystal

I love that we got to see this moment.
I remember Gavin getting excited about riding in the van with the seats down around Christmas time. I remember when Gavin cried when he hit Colette in the face with the frisbee. I remember when he became obsessed with dancing and then outgrew that and was embarrassed. Now I get to “remember” him driving not for the first time, but an exciting time.
I appreciate that you’ve let us watch your kids grow. I’ve been here since the beginning and through ALL of it, there’s still so much love to learn from. ❤️

I remember when I got my drivers licence, here in Ontario we start learning at 16 but I just got my full license last year after turning 20. Now being 21 I still would love to try driving a tesla, my current car at the moment is a 2007 pontiac G5.

How does getting a license work in the U.S?
In the U.k you can get a provisional licence at 15 and 9 months, however you can’t actually get behind the wheel to practice till 16 only if you pay extra for enhanced mobility PIP so at 17 most people start drivers ED or wait till their 18th birthday to start. It seems so easy to gain a driving licence in America.
