Inside Saudi Arabia's $8 Billion Mega City

Saudi Arabia is known for several things, including being one of the richest oil-driven nations in the world. However, their reputation is fast growing to encompass their audacious projects. With one of the largest oil reserves in the world, you'd expect that they'd focus all efforts on their black gold. Instead, they're building a terayacht. . .a crazy $8 billion floating Turtle mega city called “Pangeos”.

The biggest issue and to my mind the most obvious problem with this project is the unpredictable violence of storms over the ocean. No matter how well anyone builds any structure there are just to many uncontrollable factors that can and will tear apart man made structures carrying that many people over any of Earth's oceans. It will never work at our current level of technology.

Great video and some excellent tips ! This is scary time for new investors but the best thing you can do is not to make a decision based on emotions.

Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance- wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..

I want that Line City to be built but I doubt it will happen. If they could just complete even 10% of the project, I'd give them my respect. Although these projects seem out of reach to me, I'm glad there are still countries who think big. America used to be like that but no more. We can't even get decent bike lanes on bridges built in NYC without some planning fools saying it's impossible. Anyway, although many Saudi projects don't always turn out well, at least they keep trying. I wish them the best of luck that most of their mega-projects become successful.

The Line is so extremely inefficient building wise and in every other respect it will fail.

All of these projects are wonderful but only appeal to tourism, focus on projects that will enrich your people such as education medical care housing infrastructure meat and poultry farms dairies mercantile producing fabrics rugs clothes fruit vegetables fish farms vineyards and wine production olive oil companies etc... for your people not so much for tourism! ❤

I think the engineers in Saudi Arabia have “too much time on their hands” and too much money.

Great idea but I don't recommend it because of how the storms are happening in the waters
Our father in heavenly may just wash it all away no matter how it's built or design to float on and structure
Put it all on solid land still will be just as gorgeous

He explains that Seventy percent of the Saudi population is under 30, and honestly he will not spend the next 30 years of his life dealing with destructive ideas. He said he will destroy them today and at once
