I watched a video where a dude named jeremy had a similar issue and it turned out to be the circuit board. But you can't just get the same circuit board ot has to have the same firmware as the original board. He found a company to do this for him.

you cannot open a drive (in a non clean room) and run it with the lid off, expecting to get the data out when a critical part of the drive mechanism require the cover on to create the airflow for the HEAD sliders to "fly" over the surface, the way you opened it you let the Head sliders "drag"over the surface, no chance of getting anything out of this drive any more
