DIY Matte Black Camera Charge Station | Turning Our Basement Into A Studio

Last year I built out a charge wall for our filming room and DIDN'T FILM IT! What a mistake, so today we're building out a DIY matte black camera battery charge station for the studio and walking you through EVERYTHING!

I've been watching quite a few of these types of videos and this one, by far, makes the most sense out of any of them. Also thanks so much for NOT buying wall control, it's fucking annoying all of their shelves and accessories are proprietary. You have given me some good ideas, especially the USB charger and that small little shelf. Down to earth REAL WORLD, non douchey ideas... Gonna check out some more of your videos...

I’m literally painting my entire studio for my new YouTube channel matte black right now. All my gear is in the kitchen with an army of chairs protecting it from my curious yellow lab. This channel was a huge inspiration for my decision to nix the eggshell I had for that matte black life! Only difference I made was I painted my shelf 18% grey so I can always easily white balance. I’ll be doing this charge station next, keep up the innovative content!
