I work on the 777 and the 300 passenger version is no longer built. We do build the 200 version for freight and a new one leaves the building every 5-7 days. The Everett plant also fixes all the new 787 's from SC before they are delivered to the customer. It's a great place to work and amazing to step foot on these aircraft every day. The 777 production floor you observed is 13 acres. This doesn't include the area where the fwd, mid, aft and tail sections are assembled.

@16:18 next to that hangar is flying heritage and combat armor museum. One of the best collections on ww2 aircraft in the world in my opinion.

They have an original me262 with modernized jumo engines (original design but modern materials in order to have more hours between rebuilds).

I was researching for a hopefully upcoming ANA flight and got hooked today through your ANA A380 video and loved the depth of information and humor. Then I realized all the other vids are also loaded with info and humor, something the other flight vloggers dont have. Now subbed!

Great vid. Super cool coincidence, I actually did the whole tour on a US trip from Syd, back in July. Was a bit busier then, was great to see the Dreamlifter takeoff.

6:39 I went back in July of this year, and that whole ramp had several 777X in anticorrosion paint and without engines. Its crazy how they made such a huge change over the past 3 months.

2:19 the tour used to have Dreamliner stuff, 747-8 stuff, and overall a lot more shenanigans. Obviously we all know what happened to Boeing so now it’s quite shameful

Great review of the tour, never thought I'd want to tour an aeroplane factory, but almost got me there!😊

An interesting regional airport to me is Madison Dane County (Wisconsin). They have this like, Prairie School, Art Deco 50s style architecture, and always play old jazz music. Surreal place.

I worked at Boeing as a drafter for over 30 years, primarily on the 757 (wing and body structures) and 737NG (flight deck), but did some months on the 747-400 (honestly, I can't remember). ;-)
That's why those people back then were called the "Incredibles".

The microphone strapped to the bottle of wine is brilliant.

One think I miss now that I've moved from Tulalip to Portland is flying out of PAE. What a wonderful airport, it's like a first class lounge for everyone.

11:45 wish you had visited the Museum of Flight to just a bit to the south of the Amtrak station. The 747 prototype is currently housed there and it’s so much more awesome than the corporate failure that is Boeing right now.

the 737 North line is under construction even during the strike. the green on the 777x is sprayed on skin protectant not a warp. GE very behind with the GE9X engines. there's close to 2 dozen 777x sitting awaiting completion with more inside still in various stages of build but on hold(strike).. There's over 24k folks that work at the Everett plant. during the day it becomes like the 6th largest "city" in the county in less than 1000 acres.
