I'm usually a very studious hardworking student, so my teacher was very shocked when I got a C on my test. She thought I didn't study, but I did. So she told me "maybe you're not studying the right way." I've always been a shy kid to adults, so I surprised myself when I said to her "Well how did I study the wrong way if that's the only way you're teaching me to study. Maybe it's the wrong way for me." They've opened small groups in my school now. I'm hoping this can happen to other students who need extra help with other subjects instead of being held behind on a particularly difficult subject for you that could be easy for the rest of your peers.

I want to be on Broadway and science or history won't help me with that.
Math and home Ed or pe might help for calculating although I can use a calculator. Taking care of myself and pe can help with my dancing.

School was originally meant to brainwash students from their dreams and become something completely different. I may be wrong, but I agree with this statement. I grew up with my dream and that was taken and thrown away from my teachers, I grew hard as iron, cold as ice and a soul of blackness, now, I'm in the 8th grade and nothing changes. My dreams, my hopes, my attitude, my successors and professors have changed by a universes extent. Everything has. Because of school. Thank you for your time, you are a great person, to hear the same words, my teachers wouldn't even listen to.

I am in school, and this is not just my ‘opinion’.

They say you have to be smart, when there are different smarts. You have to think a certain way to be considered smart. I am a kid, yet I have the courage to speak up. To tell the world.

School is making us dumber.

It is limiting our ways to think. Making sure we follow the majority. Where has that independence gone? School is dragging on down further and further until we are too scared to think for ourselves and leave the little box we are trapped inside of, when in reality all we have to do is try to step out.
There are two boxes keeping us in. The box where we stay, and the box called ‘outside of the box’. They keep us locked in, confined to those two areas, unable to explore because of the fear of being different.

Well I want to be different. I hate mankind right now. We are hurting ourselves by doing nothing to try and escape, for even the adults are scared of the consequences.

Here is where I ask, ‘Do you care?’

The truth is, you don’t, unless you are the few like me, risking everything to take a stand. Not letting the fear of being different gripping everybody else hold us down,
We are the mankind I want to be a part of. Not our stupid society run by idiots who care about distracting us from our fear long enough to help them, but short enough for us to remember.
I hate that mankind. I don’t want to be a part of it. A thirteen year old girl is taking a stand. Stop being idiots and escape the fear limiting you.

Or else you won’t accomplish anything, just meaningless everyday stuff that anyone can do.

Be the change. Spread the change.

For a better mankind that is worth existing.
