This really does give you something to think about. One size does not fit all. There has to be a way to have individuality, because we are, after all, individuals. I don't see it changing much, because people don't want to do the work that is required.

He's not rapping, its poetry. It's sometimes hard to confuse the two cause rapping is a form of poetry in a way but in this instance it's poetry

It's half/half for me. I went to school because I have to and because I like to learn. I really don't like the pressure... I miss high school sometimes but I think I prefer when I was in elementary x) but even now, in fact, I'm lucky we're in a small group in my DUT ( it's a french🇨🇵 degree)

In America we definitely get told that without college or an education we wouldn’t succeed. There’s so many gifted and talented kids that get overlooked because they make bad grades. When you talk to them though they’re usually just talented in something other than academics. I am terrible at math, but give me a song to sin and I can knock those socks right off your feet. It upsets me to see all of these kids wasting dreams and aspirations because they didn’t have the right guidance.

I remember when that video first came out and it made me feel, and so many others, feel like we were being heard. All of our struggles weren't being ignored. But how many years later, and no one has thought to change anything. It's really sad.

I completely agree. This upcoming school year I'm graduating high school and am turning 17 in a couple months. Things like credit, taxes, bills, I have yet to learn and am left to figure out on my own. I feel like I haven't learned anything in school but 1 simple math equation and how to write the most bland essay ever. If im going to study, it should be something useful that I need to carry throughout college and/or adulthood.

The more I watch videos about korean schools the more i realize my school is closer to korean schools than it is to american yet being an american school. For example pre-covid. my usually routine would be wake up at 6am get ready for school. leave the house by 7:30am, school from 7:55-3:30. then would have to rush to another school before 4pm to do robotics, and stayed there usually till 9pm but right before competitions until midnight, then get home usually an hour later to do homework. We might be far away from each other geographically however we aren’t much different.

Everyone way of learning is not the same... we all have our own talents. My advice to all the young people watching this video and the ones in this video. Just keep adding tools to your toolbox you’ll never know when will you need it. Be yourself, don’t be afraid to fail, don’t be afraid to be different, never do or say things that you wouldn’t like other to say or do to you.

When I was in school our arrival time is 6:30 am and we go home at 3:00 pm during normal days. If we have club activities we usually stay until around 5:00 pm...

I was about to complain about going to school at 7 but they said they get out at 4 or 5 whereas I get out a little before 2 pm

In my school freshman have 8 classes sophomore have 7 junior have 6+(ap or advanced class) seniors have 5-7 and this is with ap classes
