Investment banking can be quite lucrative if you know what you're doing, but it also comes with its fair share of risks.

The cuts make a lot of sense if Tesla is hemorrhaging money due to dropping sales and poor customer retention.

On the the Tesla Charging department, I read Sandy's rant and this is what I replied on it...
Sandy I disagree, you fire all your Tech staff from your Charger department without giving contact info to all the others that are involved in the NACS such as Ford, Rivian, GMS, Volvo, Polestar etc is just very poor business practice and I believe this was an emotional responce to EV Charge staff head failure to do dramatic trim to staff. And have the Version 4 charger been engineered and developed, noda, all the current version 4 superchargers are duds, still only 500 volt without good support to their new Cybertruck, really! Who is going to complete that engineering, and who wants to work now for Tesla with what just happened not the great and smart people that have been lost. Corporations biggest asset is really good people that work for them and make things happen.

Two thousand dollars to unlock ~40 miles is a good deal? Is this guy serious? Holy cow.

Anyone long Tesla now is crazy.
Insider senior VPs are leaving and telling the SEC they are selling everything.

Let's give Elon a fat bonus pay as a pat on the back for this.

I believe this is the end of the electric car fad. Without a government built charging network we'll never be able to get rid of ice cars

One hardcore way to look at the Supercharger network is that EV sales have dropped precipitously across the board, so does Tesla actually need to grow the size of its current network right now, especially considering that others are now rolling out their own branded NACS networks on top of what’s already deployed?

when Toyota was built, it was not necessarily at full speed, but with careful and careful calculations, so that Toyota could rise slowly. In contrast to Tesla, everything was hit so that it could go straight to the top, and now it is become a backlash.

I understand that maintenance the time being.
Just imagine what could be salvaged if a stable adult was given TOTAL CONTROL.

You can get the huge tub of petroleum jelly at Costco. If you have a Tesla you are going to need it.

Please tell me that at least the software-limited battery capacity is released when and as the physical pack capacity degrades, so that the as-limited capacity holds constant.

I've heard that a lot of the supecharger folks worked on NACS Adoption, which is no longer needed. The maint guys are still working, and Elon has said they will still build out the network, so it wasn't literally everyone.

Elliot Richards also has his own YouTube channel of the same name covering Chinese EVs in addition to the work he does for Fully Charged Show.

There’s basically no incentive to want to work there.

Fremont will close completely by this time next year. They grossly overbuilt and the demand is just not there,

It wasn't the ENTIRE supercharging team. Some of the team remain. They even emailed out to vendors and partners with new contacts.

If there is no tariffs China would have already dumped a million cars here, this is so sad because we can't get our shit together and build a good reasonable ev.

Well, if you think about it, it's kind of like the military, where some people get out and you have other people replaced them. Now the division might go down for a bit, but it'll build itself back up again and continue on. While the group that was fired will make a new or continue on with other companies that are doing the same thing to grow, there's super charge Branch. but of course using now the Tesla plug, which is the North American Standard and should be standard throughout the world. And, of course, eventually adopt the cordless adapter to charge up as well. Which in this case would help out with the Tesla taxi. Finances in Tesla always fluctuate and it's always growing as they move on. In the future, there will be other gigafactories an battery facilities that will be built in Mexico, possibly Canada, India, Australia,
And somewhere in europe and Africa. But to grow Tesla, you must shrink it a little bit. And those people who get laid off can go to other companies. Me, I want to become part of Tesla, build new things, and then retire.
