You don't stab someone 11 times in self defense. If you're trying to get away you might stab them once or twice and then run. 11 times looks like murder.

These two should be allowed to return to society as soon as the Officer can return to his life!

Anyone who stabbed someone 11 times deserves a harsh sentence.

Just married and already a widow, that must be incredibly painful. I hope she can recover and life a full, happy life.

"That night was the worse night of my life" in front of the grieving family shows their character. It's literally not about you? Worse night of YOUR life? How about the wife? The mom and dad and siblings and the officer himself. What was that night for them? They're not sorry, and they aren't aware of the gravity of their wrongdoings, they're just sad they got caught and now have to face the consequences. There's no compassion needed for them. Condolences to the officer's family, rest in peace to the officer.

If it was self defense, they wouldn't have hid their knife in a ceiling panel.

“Lack of compassion for the 2 murders during sentencing” ? Wow, their lawyer has balls ! Did they show compassion when they murdered the police officer in cold blood?

Finn's parents kept saying it was because he had mental health problems, but that's not a get out of jail free card.

This is what happens when parents spoil their kids and don't teach them how to act like a human

The American lawyer is an expert on compassion? He needs to ask a kid why he stabbed someone 11 times. That kid stabbed him 11 times because he wanted to, not because he needed to. These punks can rot, at least they will become fluent in Italian, if they use their time wisely. RIP to the officer, condolences to his bride.

It really says a lot about American's sense of entitlement that the US attorney thinks it's unfair and uncompassionate to sentence to prison 2 people who stabbed someone ELEVEN TIMES.

Lawyer saying “all the blame was laid at their feet.” Where should blame for murdering someone go, other than the murderer?!!
