Modeling for Minecraft: 3DS Max Part 1

In this tutorial series I will take you through the steps to making a Minecraft ready model which can be used in your own mods or someone else, we will cover everything from setting up your 3DS Max environment to pixel art aesthetics and UV mapping.

Yes, it's useful for those people, and I'm glad they now have a tutorial, but I'm not a student, the trial runs out, and piracy is a great way to get an infected system if I don't want to go through the trouble of setting up a sandbox. I'm just hoping some good Blender tutorials come out one day, because the existing ones are for either professionals and thus very complex, or are commentary that is slow, droning, mumbling, and full of hissing.

Relax your volume is very low but your volume of.knowledge and aesthetics is extremely high! Good vid!

Thanks for the Tut Rorax, nicely done. But yea a bit sad it is not in Blender. Oh well, not going to buy 3DS. Hopefully the concept will be the same for Blender, and therefor still a tad usefull.

You can get 3DS Max free as a student, get the trial (is there one), or get it 'some other way'.

why is it that when I do the thing where I create the materials I get the blue box and the green box both linked but then there is also a yellow box that links itself to the blue box and it is a "controller bezier float"
