Old school: I set a monster face down, I set 2 card, I end my turn.
New School: I special summon a monster that special summon another monster that sends a card to the graveyard that activate its effect to summon a monster then xyz summon a monster then link summon a monster to activate its effect to set a card from my deck then activate a spell card to fusion summon a monster without material then……….. I end Your Turn.

It's amazing how some old card can come back and just wreck things some times

I respect the spirit, as luck is part of the skill (1/40 for Raigeki without draw cards, as old school draw are banned)

I love how it’s so difficult for modern players to grasp what this video encapsulates in less than three minutes. This is how a *duel* is supposed to play out; a back and forth where each player has their own strategy to win that can actually fail, not a wall of negates and a small list of must have cards for a deck to let you survive past your first turn of the game. If I wanna die fast in a competitive game, I’ll go play CS;GO, not play a strategy based card game.

I thought it was Tier 1 new school deck or something (VW, adaman, PK etc), but it was a brick eyes deck,

To be fair Blue Eyes doesn't really count as 'new age'. It's old age turbo summoning and that seems new to people who played in the 2000's but really to see old vs actual new you should play a tiered ladder deck or something that's meme-tastic but can still somehow make three board locks on turn 1 or just has one skill drain that knocks out 95% of old decks simply by saying "nope you got a bunch of normals. Enjoy!" and runs over you.

Damn! You're so Old School that you learn the effects of monsters by failing when using trap cards against them.

Me too. I love the old school YuGI oh. Than the new yugioh. I hate every time they activage a card effect and special summon a monster 3 or 5 at one turn. It's really unfair like me i used to be

A random thought occured to me earlier today: if you have Skill Drain, and you use it against Timelords, they essentially become giant sitting ducks

A shame the dude dipped out like a coward instead of taking the L

Blue eyes isnt considered a new school deck though.
Its really slow compared to new school decks that set up 3+ negates and boss monsters in the 1st turn.

I despise blue eyes decks! I love the card, but the decks make me angry, mostly because in Duel Links, all I ever fought against in PvP was Blue Eyes. I barely saw anyone play other decks. But at least in Duel Master I have more decks to play against, I've rarely played against blue eyes decks thankfully.
