I was born and raised in Arcadia and eventhough it has drastically changed since the 60's and 70's the homes above Foothill have always been the upper class homes!

In the north portion there are bears as well and closer to fire prone areas so you might have to evacuate. also, not all areas of Arcadia are in the Arcadia school district. some are in Monrovia and El Monte.

I live in LA and I've been shopping for a house in Arcadia, Pasadena, and the surrounding cities. What I've noticed is all of the real estate agents who are representing the sellers properties all seem to have the same nationality of names as well as a good number of people who live in the area. So what I'd like to know is the cultural history of Arcadia and Pasadena. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but it seems that a lot of the real estate agents who represent Los Angeles sellers never seem to have properties going up the hill towards Arcadia and Pasadena. All the agents last names seems to be Kang, Wang, Huang, Wei, Hu and so on. So it just got me curious as to the cultural history of those cities.
